History
Since its founding in 2000, BoDeans Baking Group has become one of the fastest-growing cone manufacturers in North America.
2000 – BoDeans Baking Group was founded and built its original manufacturing facility totaling 20,000 square feet.
2001-2002: After just one year in operation, BoDeans Baking Group expands its facility to 50,000 square feet.
2004: Second expansion took place, adding another 25,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space.
2006: BoDeans Baking Group builds a 92,000 square foot manufacturing facility for the production of wafers. The plant has the capacity to produce more than 1.5 billion wafers per year and has grown to 134,000 square feet.
2009: BoDeans Baking Group converted more warehouse space into manufacturing and added a 1,250 square foot employee welfare area.
2011-2012: Added another 15,000 square feet to the cone plant and converted another 8,000 square feet of warehouse to manufacturing. Current size of the cone plant is 90,000 square feet.
2013: BoDeans purchases Mexico’s largest producer of ice cream cones, Altesa.
